[Kanji version from goo Ongaku .]

"Kurikaeshi" stands for "Repeat".

The most curious thing in this song is the 始めませふ [HAJIMEMASEFU] when she actually sings [HAJIMEMASHOU]. Anyone could explain this to me?:D
I'm confused!
Other than that, there're just some regular stuff on Shiina's songs: ひ [HI] instead of い [I] in some cases, は [HA] instead of わ [WA] (not the particle case), ふ [FU] instead of う [U], lots of obsolet kanji or extraordinary readings (the words in caps are usually representing this).

Japanese language is beautiful!(*_*)
or
日本語素敵!(*_*)

Hi there,
I know you've published it a long time ago, but I just wanted to tell you why she wrote 初めませふ instead of 始めましょう - this is old kana usage, the words are written like they were before... WWII I think.
In her Album "Karuki Zamen Kuri no Hana" where "Ishiki" is from, which you also translated and posted here, she uses old Kana throughout the album - whole booklet's full of them ;)
(I think this is to make the album seem somehow noble, old and somewhat "official", because she also uses documental kanji for numbering the songs like 壱 instead of 一 and so on)

She also often uses Kanji that are not on the Jouyou-Kanji list or with different readings - it's a sort of wordplay, I guess but you found that out too, didn't you? ;)

Kasu,
Thanks a lot for kindly posting a response to my question!:)
Shiina's intention with all these unusual uses of kanji has become clearer to me now. And even though I didn't mention, I do remember seing this strange ichi (壱) somewhere in her lyrics...:D
Thank you very much!
